The Bleeding Ink is an atmospheric short-form experience centered entirely on environmental storytelling

Explore the two floors of a detailed Art Deco library trembling under the cold light of an unnatural full moon. Discover what happened to James Thorne, who fled from a beast, and what dark secret waits behind the locked door upstairs.

A Student Passion Project

The Bleeding Ink was developed as a student project with a clear goal: creating a dense, narrative atmosphere through detailed environmental storytelling. The entire level was modeled in Blender. I focused heavily on Art Deco architecture and organic destruction (bullet holes, claw marks) to make the history of the struggle physically tangible. In Substance Painter, I worked extensively on contrasting surfaces and stylized texturing. This was the heart of my learning journey.
