Frequency 47 [VR-Test-Project]
A downloadable Prototype for Windows
Disclaimer: This is an educational test project created solely for technical experimentation in Unreal Engine as part of a university module. It serves as a 360-degree environmental showcase and does not contain fully functional gameplay systems or playable puzzles.

Frequency 47 is an immersive VR prototype developed in Unreal Engine where players find themselves isolated inside a 1978 radio cabin during a severe storm, tasked with keeping a vital warning signal active.

Created as a practical project for a university module, this technical demonstration focuses on atmospheric 360-degree environmental design.

The Concept
Frequency 47 is a high-stress VR-Scenario that places the player inside a claustrophobic radio station cabin in 1978. Surrounded by a raging storm, the overarching objective is to fight against failing analog equipment—such as rerouting patch cables, adjusting frequency dials, and pulling emergency levers—to maintain a saving warning signal shown on an oscilloscope.

As a test project aimed at gaining hands-on experience with VR workflows, this built version prioritizes the implementation of a detailed 360-degree environment and the integration of functional grab components. While advanced puzzle logic and automated gameplay triggers were omitted from this stage of the prototype, the project tries to capture a tense sense of isolation, stress and danger.
